SAMPLE REFUND

A student that enrolls in a Master’s Degree in Business Administration program, begins their program, and withdraws during the third week of class after beginning their program will experience the following refund calculation. If the initial term they took was a 5-week 3-credit course with a total cost of US$480 ($160/Credit x 3 credits=$480), then the student calculation will result in 60% (US$288) billed tuition. This results in a potential refund of US$192 ($288-$480). Actual refund amount (credit balance) is contingent on the amount the student paid, if the student paid less than US$288 for the term, the student will have a debit balance, if they paid more than US$288 the student will have a credit balance equal to the overage amount minus any non-refundable fee

ENROLLMENT CANCELLATION

All funds will be returned to the student if the university does not accept the applicant or if the student cancels within five (5) calendar days after signing the enrollment agreement and providing the initial payment. Cancellation after the fifth (5th) business day, but before the first day of class, results in a refund of all funds paid, except for the registration fee.

Partial Course Withdrawal

A student may withdraw from one or more courses during a term and not be withdrawn from the University. Cancellation after attendance has begun, through 40% completion of the course, will result in a pro-rate refund computed on the number of hours completed out of the total course session.

Cancellation after completing more than 40% of the course will result in no refund.

A student who withdraws from all his or her courses in a term will be responsible for any charges that may accrue on their account due to the withdrawal.

In calculating the refund due to a student, the last date of actual attendance by the student is used in the calculation unless earlier written notice is received. Refund payments will be made within 30 days of termination of students’ enrollment or receipt of the refund request.
