Initiative offers weekly online meetings and two in-person meetings in the USA
MUST University, in partnership with Nova Acropolis, is launching a series of weekly meetings with the renowned professor Lucia Helena Galvão. The initiative will last six months and will include remote classes, in addition to two in-person meetings at the MUST university headquarters, in Deerfield Beach, Florida, in September and December 2024.
Those interested will have the opportunity to get a taste of the course with the free class “What is philosophy in the classical way?”, which will be held on July 29th, at 8 pm (Miami time – USA). This open class is aimed at residents of the United States and those interested in Brazil in taking the philosophy course in the classic New Acropolis way, semi-in person in the states of Florida or New York.
Nova Acropolis, an international organization present in more than 50 countries for 66 years, seeks to develop the best in each human being through Philosophy, Culture and Volunteering. With courses adapted for more than 30 languages, the institution offers philosophical training for life, accessible to everyone, regardless of age, social status, political or religious position.

Lucia Helena Galvão, the professor who will lead the meetings, is a renowned philosopher, writer and speaker, with a vast production of philosophical content on YouTube, especially appreciated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Author of six books, Galvão became a popular figure in the dissemination of philosophical knowledge.
“It is very rewarding to provide this unique experience of learning and personal development. Classical philosophy, taught by such an inspiring teacher as Lúcia Helena Galvão, will certainly bring significant benefits to all participants”, says Giulianna Carbonari Meneghello, president of MUST University.
