On October 30th, the highly anticipated innovation festival SVWC 2024 – Startse became the meeting point for the world’s greatest innovative minds, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs and global leaders to discuss the main transformations that will shape the future. The event brought together around 3 thousand participants, and MUST University was present with an exclusive stand, ready to support professionals looking to expand their skills and position themselves at the center of these revolutions.
Silvio Meneghello, Latin America BTB Manager at MUST University, shared his vision about participating in the event, stating that “it was extremely rewarding to experience a day so rich in insights and valuable connections.”
Among the speakers who enriched the event, Orkut Büyükkökten, founder of the iconic social network Orkut, discussed the transformative role of social networks and addressed a sensitive topic: how these platforms, created to unite, ended up, in many cases, isolating. Orkut highlighted that “coming out publicly and being true to yourself” is one of the biggest current challenges, contributing to the increase in depression.
Leka Hattori, CEO of Space Terra and NASA representative at the Innovation Marathon, brought an inspiring insight into the new frontiers of space exploration, highlighting how this revolution is creating opportunities for companies and governments around the globe. Alex Dantas, CEO of Circuit Launch, explored the impact of robotics, detailing how hardware and robotics startups are redesigning the market and opening up new possibilities for entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley.
Among the highlighted topics, digital transformation in education was widely discussed by Romeo Busarello, a professor specializing in innovation, who highlighted the impact of new technologies on the way we teach and learn. According to him, constantly updating skills is essential to remain in the market. For Busarello, studying and improving should be a continuous process for everyone. “The future does not wait and does not forgive a lack of preparation,” he stated during his talk at SVWC 2024, highlighting the importance of continuous education in a scenario of rapid technological change.
MUST University’s presence at the event reinforced its commitment to innovation and preparing professionals for the challenges of a rapidly evolving market, in tune with the changes that will shape the future of professions and society.
