On February 16, MUST University takes an innovative step in distance learning with the launch of the Owlie chatbot, represented by the friendly MUST owl – the institution’s mascot. Created to optimize the student experience, the chatbot’s main objective is to clarify doubts about the subject content, providing more interactive and personalized learning.
With Owlie, students will have access to an intelligent educational assistant, available 24 hours a day, offering immediate and efficient support without depending exclusively on the availability of teachers. The tool will also have advanced academic analysis features, allowing students to identify individual progress and recommend additional content or adaptations based on their learning needs.
“The use of chatbots in distance learning has proven to be an effective solution for overcoming educational challenges. In such a broad market and with so many possibilities to explore, this technology not only offers competitive advantages for institutions, but also boosts student engagement”, highlights Giulianna C. Meneghello, president of MUST University.
Among Owlie’s features is the possibility for students to interrupt a class to clarify a specific doubt, request alternative explanations and examples different from those presented in the virtual classroom. Furthermore, artificial intelligence will act as a digital mentor, helping students to better understand the topics studied.
“We understand that each person has a unique learning style. The video and exercises alone are not always enough to ensure complete understanding of the content. With Owlie, we are able to provide an even more adaptable educational experience, allowing each student to study at their own pace”, reinforces the university president.
With this innovation, MUST University reaffirms its commitment to quality education and digital inclusion, offering its students cutting-edge technological resources to enhance learning. Owlie will be available on the university’s academic platform from its official launch on February 16th.
