MUST University was present at an important international academic event held from June 26 to 28 in Hernandarias, Paraguay. The UDUALC – ALAFEM 2025 Academic Meeting, with the theme “Strengthening Education in Latin America and the Caribbean: Internationalization, Management, and Innovation,” brought together university authorities, academic leaders, and health professionals from various regions of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Organized by the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUALC) and the Latin American Association of Medical Schools and Colleges (ALAFEM), in collaboration with UNINTER – Universidad Internacional Tres Fronteras and UNE – Universidad Nacional del Este, the event was held at the ITAIPU Binational Visitor Reception Center.
During the program, representatives from MUST University participated in roundtable discussions and networking opportunities with the aim of strengthening institutional partnerships and promoting initiatives focused on the internationalization of higher education. The American university’s presence at the event reinforces its commitment to a more humane, connected, and transformative educational model—one that goes beyond the classroom and focuses on practical experiences, the exchange of knowledge between countries, and the development of global skills.
“This type of meeting expands opportunities for our students, who now have access to international contexts, multicultural interactions, and experiences that enrich both their academic and professional training,” says Giulianna Carbonari Meneghello, president of MUST University.
All participants in the UDUALC – ALAFEM 2025 Academic Meeting received certificates of attendance, officially recognizing their participation as part of the educational and academic process.
MUST University remains committed to creating and participating in initiatives that encourage the development of excellent, collaborative, and future-oriented higher education.
