Do I automatically get a Symplicity account?
Once you complete the first Term, you will receive access to your MUSTConnect account. Your username and password are the same as your LMS information.
How do I log in?
Log in with your MUST credentials. If you have trouble accessing your account, contact the Career Services for assistance.
How do I search for jobs and internships?
Use the Job Search tab to browse all posted opportunities. You can filter by keyword, location, major, class level, industry, and other criteria to find the best fit.
Search by employer, major, job title, location and more.
How do I upload or update my resume?
Click on the circle with your initials in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select My Documents to upload a new resume or access your existing one. You can upload your resume as a PDF or Word document. Be sure to save any changes your uploaded resume will be used when applying for jobs through MUSTConnect.
How do I apply for an internship or job?
Apply directly through MUSTConnect using the resume and cover letter saved in your profile. You can also “favorite” jobs to apply to later on any device.
Look for the blue "Apply" button on the job posting.
Some jobs might have links to external websites like Indeed where you will apply for the position.
How do I find and sign up for career events?
Use the Events tab in Career Launch to view all upcoming career fairs, workshops, employer information sessions, and other career-related events.
To sign up or learn more:
Click on the Events tab from the main menu.
Browse the list of upcoming events or use filters to search by event type or date.
Click on the event title to view full details, including time, location, and description.
Click RSVP or Sign Up to register for the event.
Signing up ensures you receive reminders and any important updates related to the event.
How can I connect with a mentor?
MUSTConnect will host periodic events where students can connect with alumni, faculty, career mentors, and professionals in their field of study. These opportunities are designed to provide guidance, share real-world insights, and support your academic and career development. Stay tuned for upcoming mentorship events on MUSTConnect.
How do I get feedback on my resume or cover letter?
Students and alumni can submit their resumes, CVs, or cover letters for automated AI review at any time and receive helpful feedback to improve their application materials.
