Scientific publications by MUST University students and professors will be used as a reference in technical courses in Brazil

MUST University, an American university focused on 100% digital masters, has supported its students to complete the learning journey through the production of scientific works.

In all, nine titles have already been published with the participation of the institution’s master’s students and tutors.

Among them, The Art of Management; Contemporary Management: Case Studies and Reflections; Adaptive Educational Platforms: personalized learning in digital culture; Education for an Exponential World; Pedagogical Methods and Practices: studies, reflections and perspectives; Education and Technology: (Inter)Constructive Relationships; Reflections and Actions in Emerging Educational Technologies; Emerging Technologies in Education; and Emerging Technologies in the Educational Field: Education and Technology in the Contemporary Scenario.

For Prof. Carlos Silva, one of the project supervisors and relationship coordinator of the Master’s courses in Business Administration and Business Development and Innovation, the production of these books is premised on helping the Master’s student to understand the processes that involve a scientific publication in practice. , as the production of articles in the master’s disciplines helps students in the complete learning journey.

According to the tutor, the book A Arte da Gestão will soon be used as a reference in technical courses in Brazil, among other titles that are being evaluated for this purpose.

“This project has great relevance, because for each discipline, the master’s student produces a paper with the support and guidance of tutors, and starts to have quality scientific material to be published. Undoubtedly, it was a great challenge to organize these works, together with Prof. Alexandra Mastella and Prof. Geisse Martins, but very satisfying. A collaborative work with a lot of learning between professors and masters, which would not have been possible without the support of the publisher and MUST University”, says Prof. Carlos Silva.

According to Prof. Geisse Martins, tutor of the MUST University’s Masters in Business Administration and Development and Innovation, the institution values quality scientific production, which contributes to the community that practices the act of doing science.

“When students and professors work together to produce books that group together the articles developed within the respective master’s programs – which aim to understand social, political, educational, health and technology phenomena -, there is an effective contribution for incisive reflection of real problems of contemporary society”, he says.

For Prof. Geisse, the biggest challenge as a supervisor is the curation of articles, as well as the articulation of teamwork, between professors and authors.

“For this, the partnership between the master organizers and the publisher Letra e Forma is essential, which has been providing speed with a very high commitment in all stages of book production. It is worth mentioning that all this work allows students to review the content made available during the course, as well as favors collaboration and the exchange of knowledge between authors and organizers, which promotes learning in collaborative networks within a 100% digital master’s course. “, highlights.
